We are happy to arrange tailored events for groups, just get in touch via hello@greatcotmarshfarm.co.uk . If you are travelling from further afield, you can stay on the farm at our lovely campsite by booking a luxury tipi, or tent pitch (we don't have pitches for camper vans I'm afraid). Sustainable Fashion Week Fringe Event: The role of agro-ecological farms in growing our clothes

To celebrate Sustainable Fashion Week we are hosting a farm tour, to demonstrate how the production of natural fibres can help benefit our natural environment and to explain the benefits for both people and our ecosystem, of designing clothing made from within a bio-region. Join us for a tour of our farm on Sunday 15th Sep from 11:00am to 1pm, to make a deeper connection between our clothing and the land.

There is an important story to tell around the role of farms in growing our clothes. At Great Cotmarsh Farm we are passionate that farmers should be able to realise the value in the fibre they produce. When Katie started farming, she was determined to see the worth in her own wool clip and in 2021 launched an award-winning knitwear collection under the brand Loopy Ewes. In 2024 work on our farm around fibre is unfolding further, as we start to cultivate dye plants and James continues along his journey to set up a micro-scale veg tannery.

During your visit we will take you around the farm on foot, whilst Katie talks about our farming system and how we manage our livestock in an important partnership with nature. You will meet the flock, our herd of cattle and also have the opportunity to see our new botanical dye garden.​
